Super-cup of Titans

Mitt syn på konkurranse: Først og fremst la meg påpeke at dette blant noen er et kontroversielt stevne da flere av utøverne tidligere er dopingtatt. Videre må jeg få si at jeg er sterkt imot doping i idrett, men jeg tar dette for hva det er. For meg er dette kun sirkus og underholdning og intet annet. Det er et vel gjennomført konkurranse med meget pene, og tunge løft.

Generell informasjon om konkurransen: The largest annual international event in powerlifting, founded by Sergey Nikeshin in 2005 to promote one of the most democratic force of disciplines and promoting youth sports.

Tournament "SUPER-CUP of Titans" is a sports event held in celebration of the city of St. Petersburg.

To participate in the tournament are allowed 10 athletes - Representatives of the Russian Federation and other countries that have shown results in a total not less than 1050 kg in official competitions.: World Championship IPF, European Championship IPF, Championship and Cup of Russia, the national championships IPF, "Super-Cup of Titans - 2012" and at the qualifying tournament in St. Petersburg in December 2012.

Sportsmen won the 1st to 3rd place in the "Super Cup of Titans - 2012", accepted for the tournament automatically. Of the remaining applicants who passed the selection of athletes and the flow is formed from seven athletes on the priority outcomes shown in the official competitions. In total, the tournament involved no more than 10 athletes.

Prize fund: 2'250'000.00 Russian rubles *

An additional cash prize of 50'000 rubles *:

• a tournament record set in the squat, bench press and deadlift (fixed only last)
  
• for results: squat - 500 kg, bench press - 360 kg, deadlift - 420 kg
  

* The main prize and additional cash prizes for setting records and results shall be paid only if a set minimum amount of 1050 kg.

Sett bort i fra den notoriske dopingen blandt utøveren, og forbundets manglende vilje til å ta tak i dette, synes jeg Russland gjør en fantastisk jobb når det kommer til promotering av idretten og de enkelte utøverne. Kommer stadig (tilsynelatende, kan ikke Russisk) gode intervjuer og reportasjer fra stevner i tillegg til intervjuer av utøvere, og treningene deres. I tillegg til publikumet, må jo være magisk å løfte der

Men må understreke at jeg er i mot doping, men tar man dette ut av regnestykket gjør Russland en som sagt mektig god jobb.
